I wanted to comment from seeing you on Ronda’s blog…and then reading some on yours!! Very nice!! I so agree with a lot of what you share. I too am a Believer…on a bit different track of the last decade (we have been drawn back into reading and trying to observe the whole of Scripture, including the Biblical holidays there..and been so blessed for so doing…long story). I wanted to just tell you in response to your remarks about Facebook that we decided (me esp.) NOT to do Facebook because we did not like what we saw happening with our kids (grown ones) who are on it. And yes, the birth of our daughter’s first child was announced there before we were called, which was sometime later in that day. They live clear on the opposite of the USA from us. I could not be there for the birth, and really was not wanted. When she wanted us to come, we could not. We did not meet that grandson until almost 9 months old in April this year. Life does not always play out the way controlling people wish it to. Long story…but yes, I could write a book not only about that daughter, but what is going on now with our youngest yet at home, almost 27 years old. Facebook does NOT bring people together…it causes a lot of hurt…we have watched it in other’s people’s lives too. Feel free to email if you are so inclined. To this point I have not gotten a blog either. Just too thin skinned I think…and not able to manage it without help from my hubby. If I get around to taking some classes to learn how, then maybe. Or if when he retires he wants to help me keep one going….maybe. Blessings and glad to have found you!! Elizabeth

Thanks for sharing these Larissa. I always liked the church sign that said, "Let Jesus kick the hell out of your life," but I haven't found a church brave enough to use it yet :-)

Firstly, that Church sign is really cute, and very true! Praying is the best way to end a day and fall into slumber - it usually makes the night more peaceful as well.

Secondly, I wanted to let you know that you are one of the winners of our 6 Month Blogiversary Give-Away! I sent an email, but I wanted to comment on your blog just to be sure you got the notification. Please email me at ladylrae@gmail.com so that we can make your gift arrangements!

Christ's blessings,
Shelby L'Rae

Hey Riss, I like the devotional. Might give it a whirl myself. I think a kids devotional will be just at my level :-) Thanks!

Amen. That was a big thing for me too. I always felt alone. That slowly went away after coming to know Jesus.

I was yummy! I forgot to say that I also sprinkled some onion flakes over the mix and some parsley too before mixing the tuna through the pasta and adding the cheese.
