Everybody’s Got a Water Buffalo
I keep singing this song. Yes it is a song. You may not know it unless you are a Christian and have children - Veggie Tales. “Everybody’s got a water buffalo, some are fast and some are slow, where they come from I don’t know, but everybody’s got a water buffalo-ooooo!” Hopefully I will stop singing this song sometime soon, so I can stay sane!
I love autumn. I’m so glad summer has finished and the nights are cooling down. Soon I’ll be able to wear jumpers and actually feel COLD! YAY!
I’m crocheting a dressing gown for dd9yo. I’ve done it before, but that one I did in granny squares, so not alot of warmth to it! This one is more close knit, so will be more like a blanket you can wear. I’m doing it myself for 2 reasons - 1 you can’t buy dressing gowns (or robes as Americans would call it) for children her size (aparently if you are over 6 years old and not an adult, you don’t wear them!). And second she wants a blue one. (If you are a girl, you must like pink!!!). I’m about 1/3 of the way through it. I’ll get pics up when I work out how to do it. I’m often making something (often 2 things at once for variety). I enjoy crocheting, it’s relaxing and easy to do in front of the telly or while the kids and I are talking.
That’s it for now…no lightning bolts from the blue today, just life.
